By downloading, installing, or using the CourierVerse app (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use operated by Yuefeng Bai ("we", "our", or "us").
1. Description of Service
CourierVerse is a gamified fitness app. Complete virtual deliveries by running to real-world locations, earn coins, and collect characters. All deliveries, packages, and characters are entirely virtual.
2. Your Progress
- No account is needed; minimum age 13
- Your progress is stored only on your device
- Deleting the App, or losing your device without a backup, deletes your progress; we cannot restore it
3. Virtual Items
- Coins and Carviis have no real-world monetary value
- Cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for real money
- We may modify the virtual economy at any time
4. Location and Safety
- GPS access is required for the App to function
- You are solely responsible for your safety while running
- Be aware of surroundings; obey traffic laws
- Do not use while driving or trespass on private property
- We are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for illegal purposes
- Manipulate GPS data or game mechanics
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools
6. Intellectual Property
All content (characters, artwork, design) is owned by us. "CourierVerse" and all character names are our intellectual property.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
9. Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of the United States.
